Empowering Women Impacted by Incarceration (EWII), is a nonprofit organization comprised of women who have been directly as well as indirectly impacted by incarceration that are committed to establishing pathways of support for individuals—both women and men—affected by the challenges of the criminal justice system.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive support, essential resources, and informed referrals that empower system-impacted families to effectively navigate the complexities of rehabilitation and reintegration. By fostering resilience, promoting informed decision-making, and advocating for systemic change, EWII aims to create a community where women and their families can thrive beyond the barriers of incarceration, ensuring a pathway to a brighter, more hopeful future for all."
